Post subject: USEFUL ADDRESSES FOR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
PostPosted: Tue Aug 25, 2009 1:27 pm
After a couple of enquiries this week, thought this information would be best served to the whole site.
If anyone wants their full service record this is the address below to apply for it enclosing 2 x proof of ID, ie utility bills in the name of the person, or passport information and copy.

DISCLOSURE 2
MAILPOINT 515
The ARMY Personnel Centre
65 Brown Street
GLASGOW
G28EX

For those seeking entitlement to medals and whether you think you have some more to come:

ARMY MEDAL OFFICE
Building 250
RAF INNSWORTH
GLOS
GL31HW

Again proof of applicant by letter x 2 utility bills needed or service record or passport copy.
Make sure if you do send your red book that it is recorded delivery, and that applies to service records in Glasgow as well.

Hope this helps
Gil

I applied for my service records in mid April and it took 3 months for them to get them to me. It seems that their is a big surge in people asking for their records, so expect a wait.

Gil,

thanks for that mate I think that's some very important information, there are always guys looking for those addresses. As you can see I've moved it to the sticky position, it will now stay here within the sticky section and not be moved down the page and out of sight.

Al.

Taff,
The one's I know are just getting to grips with switching the computer on.
I will ask Derrick Hall/Tom Brown/Ken Price to get motivated as I know they would love it.
